We did not want to create a time capsule of things that are popular on 2024. This is my second project for this clients and we wanted to create something truly unique, with character, depth, and create something with.a longer sense of a timeline for this space. For this not only did we bring the new stuff-which by the way more than 80% is handcrafted by Costa Rican hands, - but also evoked old styles, and influences: the glossy-colored ceilings, the antique end dinning table and chairs and of course, the personal-style stuff, like subaquatic and wildlife photography taken by the owner. The starting point for this project was the colorful Caribbean-inspired palette. And with Las Catalinas being such a plethora of hues, it seemed just like the perfect baseline for such a unique project.
